Biography
Zequn Liu is an undergraduate student in School of Economics and Management of Beihang University, majoring in information system and information management. He will pursue postgraduate degree in Beihang University, where he will be supervised by Prof.Jichang Zhao.
He has attended iSCMlab since he was a junior and have actively participated in a research project, which is the Store Category Selection, where he is the main database administer and algorithm researcher.In 2021 summer, he interned in Meituan and worked as a data development engineer in the cycling business group. His main work is to improve the construction of the data warehouse and provide data services upstream.

Responsibilities:
- Backend development for the Tiktok shop and Fanno platform.Design and implement some new features for the backend of the platform.
- Generate and maintain the backend API and RPC interface.
- Provide guarantee for promotion and mega sales.(E.g. 11-11 Promotion;12-12 Mega Sale;Christmas Promotion)
Achievements:
- Develop a variety of promotional activities such as direct subsidy, freeshipping, and buy more save more.
- Access to the Download Center to provide data export capability for operation backend.
- Access to the Data Management Platform to provide the operation backend with the ability of activity marking and commodity selection.
Responsibilities:
- Data development for the Meituan bicycle data warehouse. Operate offline data to better serve the upstream.
- Build, improve and maintain data warehouse. Rectify non-standard field names and table names, optimize zoning and storage structure, and improve data production and calculation efficiency.
- Prepare data for data analysis, big data calculation and data kanban. For example, provide data such as card opening rate, number of rides, card opening income, etc. for the financial budget.
Achievements:
- Making annual carbon emission bill based on user riding data in the past year.
- Clarify the definition of campus cycling, optimize the use experience of campus users, and lay a foundation for developing the campus market.
- More than 50 new tables were created and more than 100 tables were modified. The data was synchronized dozens of times a day and brushed back thousands of times. There are no online problems in the whole internship stage.
